Home Sweet Hearts

Another finish. The name of this quilt is courtesy of Peg at Pieces on My Mind. While some like this, I'm not all that fond of the pattern or the fabrics that I put in it. I tried to quilt it on my HQ 16 with the same freedom that I have on my domestic machines, and was humbled by the results. Sigh. However, all that said, it is done, and it looks better than my grumbling. Best of all, that UFO pile is a little smaller.

give it a day or two and you will probably think your machine quilting is OK. I usually dislike mine when I first finish quilting them.

What a beautiful quilt. I can't see the quilting, but I bet it's beautiful too.

It's gorgeous - rainbows in any form are dear to my heart. Thanks for the compliment of using the name I suggested.

I clicked on the photo in hopes of seeing the quilting. It looks like the quilting is hearts. It looks good! You may be hard on yourself (I do the same thing). I would bet that it looks fine, even great.

The background from blocks to applique is crosshatch on diagonal about 1" apart. The outer border is a meander. The logs have a motif on them that I don't like that much, mostly because they wiggle, but I intend to conquer that HQ16 so have to keep at it! It does look better now that the binding is on and it is hanging up.
