No pictures this week...

I recovered from Covid in five days. Then hubby tested positive and the battle began. He has a compromised immune system. His doctor was worried and put him on a medication that could cure him or kill him. The cough and lack of sleep took their toll. He was disoriented at times and lost some hearing. The cough medicine that might help is sold out everywhere. Even A...zon couldn't deliver until January. BUT after a scary twelve days, hubby tested negative on Monday. We were shocked and rejoiced. Then one of our pastors found some of the cough medicine and brought it over. We cried at his loving care. So now we are resting lots BUT...

I also got a 70 x 80 top done, and two little quilts quilted, bound and labeled. Just haven't had time to take pictures or do much else. Had to go for groceries today and it was -30C this morning. No fun out there, but the pantry and frig are full and now I need a good long sleep. Back soon, I hope.

Heart News

Yesterday was the day. The appointment was in the morning but due to a problem with the person ahead of me, I didn't make it to the table until after 4:00 pm. However, I came out of that room part human and part computer! My pacemaker is hooked up and is now responsible for my pulse. Since it was so low/high/all over the place, the rate is set at 90, to be reduced once a month as my body adjusts. It was a looooooooong day, but the staff at the heart clinic in our city is so accommodating that it was not stressful. Only that I couldn't eat or drink all day!

The patient next to me came back just before I went out. He kept saying, "I feel so normal." I knew exactly what made him so excited. My heart has not been 'normal' for a long time. I'm thankful for the excellent medical attention, my hubby who stayed with me all day, and to the Lord for getting me in when two times it looked as if I was not going to get this done until January. I had been feeling so crappy (good word) and now am happy to report that I feel so normal! Tired but normal. Wow. Praise the Lord!

Christmas Nativity Quilt Pattern

THE BEST NEWS! As of April 8, 2016. I've managed to secure worldwide, exclusive copyright to use this design in a quilt pattern... so this pattern is for sale again. Please check my Etsy Page for details!  It is copyright under Aergraphics, a name I use for art and design.

This pattern is 36" wide, and can be enlarged. It uses batiks, fusible webbing, and raw-edge applique on a black background. The larger one shown was made in three panels. The smaller one is the actual size of the pattern.

This quilt is not difficult but takes time and accuracy to place all those pieces. I've been told the big one is "jaw-dropping" but the little one looks great too.

Prices and more information are on my Etsy site. You can order there using PayPal, which also supports most credit cards. Shipping is added. There is also a digital version, which saves shipping but adds printing costs.
