I'm quilting, but so busy with other things that I've not had time to take pictures. One quilt is a gift so cannot post the photo or details until after I give it.Instead, here are a couple of older projects. The first one was for a little gal whose older sister had a quilt I'd made when she was born. The family moved away, but when the older sister refused to share her quilt with the new sibling, her mother looked for me and asked for another quilt. It is called "The Sun Always Shines in Kaylee's Garden."
The second one is a sample for a 2004 class on table runners. It is pretty basic. However, the same group that took this class is now
wanting some more. We are looking at the book, "Skinny Quilts & Table Runners" and are quite excited to get started.The sun is shining and our copious drifts of snow are shrinking. Winter is winter, but having a break like this in the middle of January certainly makes it seem shorter and more bearable!
