I'm one of those people who move furniture often, change the pictures on the wall often, change the wallpaper on my computer very often, and obviously need to change my blog 'look' now and then.
This new template suits my taste and it may stay the same, but I will change the photo on the right now and then. This one is a quilt that I made in a class at Canmore taught by Phil Beaver. The week is hosted by the Sugar Pine quilt shop and its focus is art quilts. I took a three-day class from Phil the first time I attended. This quilt is featured on his website (main link on the right) along with others from the same class. The fabrics, except the background and vase, are hand dyed. What fun. If you every have the opportunity, take a class from this funny, hard-working man who does everything to help his students.

I remember the first year he exhibited in Paducah and I saw his quilts. They are truly amazing. Your piece is beautiful. And I like your new look to the blog.
I love this piece!!! did you get the pattern at the Sugar Pine Quilt Shop? I love that shop even though I have only been there once and that was about 8 years ago - I think I heard that they moved to a new location since then. I bought a stain glass dragon pattern there that they had made and had hung in the shop.
