We arrived home yesterday and I'm still trying to get caught up with email and all that stuff that is so easily abandoned while on vacation!
Here is one thing I did on those rainy days last week and in the evenings. I put seed beads in every spot of the leopard-like fabric in Kaleidoscope-2. It was just enough to give this wall hanging some zip. I also added to the title, so it is now K-2 Piping and Beads. You can see a full photo on this post, but it doesn't have the seed beads.
I'm adding beads to K-3 also, but in a totally different arrangement. I'll post a photo when finished.
Beading is surprisingly very relaxing!

I have been collecting thrift shop beads lately so I suspect there will be some beads appearing on something soon.
Yours is beautiful.
Looks wonderful! Welcome back :-)
I like the look of beads on a quilt but don't have much patience doing it. I started beading one about 15 years ago. Maybe I need to pull it out and work on it. Yours looks great, just a touch of sparkle.
The beads really add a zing to the top, don't they? Very nice! I've never beaded, but I'm in a constant quest for handwork. Sarah Ann Smith has a new book out with a beaded pomegranate on the cover, and I'm tempted...I think you're inspiring me!
